My favorite memory is when our DD was bringing her friend home to meet us during the holidays. Before they got to our farm, a blizzard started and we were worrying about them (no cell phones then). She had told him to turn off a mile too soon and he told her they had just crossed the bridge and how far was it. She panicked~'bridge!! there's no bridge on our road!!' :-o There wasn't a bridge on our road and they were stuck. Luckily someone came along and helped them and they finally made it but were stuck in our drive where the car sat for 3 days. He got to know us really well and they did get married so it ended happily.
