Here is another of my toys- all in good working order so I can't use the excuse my machine isn't working.

Thimbleberries Sew Day

Here is my Thimbleberries table topper- just have it sewed -not quilted. Guess the days are just too short or maybe I should stay home more, ; )

Bluework

This is a bluework picture I finished- I have one more to finish but there is lots of embroidery on it so will take a while. I will hang them in my sewing room. Not sure if I will frame them or put borders on.

Block for baby quilt

This is a block I made for a baby quilt that our guild donates to the hospital for new babies.
Still cold and snowy in SD. We certainly rec'd our share this winter but we have been lucky as we did not lose power.

Fabric for Sampler

I promised a peek at our sampler-charity quilt fabric so here it is. Now I need to go shopping for some fabric to match.

Brr-rr- Its cold today

We had our guild meeting on Saturday. I showed the quilt Sarcastic quilter quilted for me. Everyone liked it. I don't have the binding finished but I tried it out on my couch yesterday and it kept me nice and warm. We also got the fabric for our swap. There are 12 in a group and we each make 13 blocks. We will exchange them and have 1 of each of the blocks for a charity quilt. I will show you the focus fabric on my next post. I think it will be donated to the Boys and Girls club so it is bright and cheery. We also are planning our quilt show in July. We have a bi-annual show and the other years we go on a shop hop bus trip. Have a good day.

Its here and its beautiful!!!

My quilt arrived today. Sarcastic Quilter did a great job. The quilting doesn't show up on the picture but she quilted mittens in the design. I am anxious to get the binding on and cuddle up in it.

Project

Here are a few of the blocks I am working on. I did a swap on HGTV and made some myself-think I have almost enough finished to start putting my quilt together. I think I will put an applique border on or something different. Will have to play on my EQ6.
I am also hand-quilting a quilt which I will show later. Neither of my projects are moving too fast- I guess its too much going out to coffee with friends. ; )
