I'm Back

Finally back from staying with my GKids. It was fun and I can't believe how fast they grow up- those days will soon be gone ; (. Haven't had time to visit blogs yet but will soon. I did get my FQ's from my vintage sheets cut so when I catch up will start sewing those. Also finished the 2nd block for the jelly roll quilt . Easter is almost here so next week will be very busy. Have a good weekend.

Good morning, I haven't been on the computer much as I am "bonding" with my grandkids while their parents are on vacation. I see I am the lucky winner of a giveaway by modifiedmix. She gave a nice embroidery package with a snowman designed just for me. Will post pictures when I get it.
Spring is finally here I hope. We have had a couple nice days and everything is getting green. Can't wait to get into my veggie garden and also take care of my flowers. Hope you are all getting nice weather. Have a great day. BB

I quilted at our senior center ysterday morning- we have a quilting room and do hand quilting for anyone and the money we make is donated to the center. We are trying to keep hand-quilting going and try to teach new people but there aren't too many interested. They had a luncheon for March birthdays so we stayed for that. Today I am going to a St. Patrick's day luncheon at our local American Legion.

The sun is shining today for the first time in a month. We have lots of roads closed and bridges washed out from the flooding. So many have water in their basements. Have a great day and thank you all very much-also thanks to CBQ- she did sing to me ;)

Getting ready for Easter

This is a wall hanging for Easter - it will soon be here. It makes the house brighter since we haven't had any sunny days for over a month.
